Wow, we got a lot of entrants for the March contest question: What is the luckiest thing that has happened to you? Some of you wrote about avoiding death! Some of you wrote about meeting the love of your life! Many of you wrote about becoming pregnant, or the joy of adoption! It was very very difficult! Deciding the winner was so hard I had to have help!

"long ago, what seems like a lifetime now, I got into a relationship and thought it was the "real thing." we eloped and moved far away from my home town. shortly after the move he turned abusive, physically, mentally and emotionally. I endured this treatment for several months, believing I had no other choice, when finally a letter came in the mail one day stating that the marriage license we had applied for would be expiring and that if it was not returned completed would be void. hallelujah!! apparently the ordained minister experienced a series of events that prevented her from being able to file the license at the court house. needless to say, I got out of that situation and fast! LUCK was certainly on MY side."
