I am Marilyn, WAHM to three beautiful children ages 6, 2, and 18mos, and wife to my loving and supportive husband of 7 yrs, Michael. I began using cloth with my second child to save money when we found out that number three was on the way. To my surprise, after switchig to cloth our sons severe diaper rash and eczema began to fade away.
After doing a little research, I learned of all the nasty chemicals and perfumes that were used in disposables and found that allergies to the disposables were indeed the culprit. Armed with this new information, and the fact that the cloth diapers were just so darned cute, I quickly became obsessesed. In September of 2006, I opened the Dapper Diaper Store and after the birth of our 3rd child, I resigned from my job to stay home with our children and run the business full time.
In my spare time, I enjoy sewing my own cloth diapers and accessories. I also write for the Cloth Diaper News, and run a local chapter of the Real Diaper Association.
